GO Soccer Mums is an introductory soccer program designed specifically for women.

It's not only for mums but women from all walks of life! 

In 2022, we've been excited to welcome our Muslim community and any women, female-identifying, and non-binary participants.

Participants will have fun, meet new people, and learn basic football skills in a judgment-free environment.

It doesn't matter if you have never kicked a football before. No experience is necessary, and anybody can take part.

Bring a drink bottle and wear shoes and clothes that allow you to move, run and kick.

This unique and fun dance session is designed to engage the mind and body to improve and enhance mind-body health.

This is an adult/open program for females during This Girl Can Week.

Multicultural dance for wellbeing is based on the principles of neuroplasticity and the proven benefits of dance.

This program incorporates breathing techniques to calm the mind, and an exercise routine to develop strength, flexibility and fitness of the body. It also includes creative dance and music from different cultures to create a space to express yourself, as well as providing opportunities to make new social connections.

No previous dance experience is required.

Registrations are essential.

Mind Calm will be facilitated by group therapists and is suitable for those who are new to meditation and people who wish to explore or extend their current practice.

• Discover what mind stilling methods work for you. 
• Experience mindfulness.
• Learn breathing techniques.

Located on Doncaster Road between Westfield and the Manningham Council Civic Centre, MC2 is conveniently accessible by public transport.

There are ample parking spaces on site including 4-hour parking underneath the building.  Access to level 1 via the lift or via stairs in the front foyer.

All ages and skill levels welcome to come along and enjoy our family friendly facilities.

Tennis is great for the mind, body and soul and very social. It's a great way to meet new friends.

Football Star Academy will be running soccer camps during the upcoming school holidays for any children interested in developing their skills, meeting new friends and having some fun over the break.

Our football training curriculum is designed by professional and qualified coaches who are dedicated to creating a skill-based learning environment with a focus on skill and player development, confidence and empowerment.

MBN’s December Business Breakfast has two exciting elements - an interactive mini-trade show themed networking session and a motivational keynote address.

What better way to close our year than by celebrating our successes and kick starting our New Year plans!

Our morning’s networking process encourages open interaction, where members and guests can mingle and chat – and sell the benefits of their business.  

Tabletop space will be available for MBN member’s brochures and special offer flyers – to help start that important conversation leading to lasting connections.

The 2025 Manningham Asian Cultural Festival will feature a fantastic lineup of cultural performances, delicious street food and family friendly activities.

A celebration of culture and community, the event will finish with a fireworks display.

We encourage you to leave your pets at home so they don’t get frightened by the fireworks. If you live in nearby streets, secure your family pets in a safe, comfortable location or consider bringing them into your house during the display. 

The festival is brought to you by the Asian Business Association of Whitehorse (ABAW), organisers of the popular Lunar New Year Festival in Box Hill.

Manningham Council is proud to be a major sponsor of the event, which is being held for the first time and expected to attract 10,000 people. 

Come and join the fun at the newly renovated Doncaster Hill Community Garden! 

Every 2 weeks community members gather to lend a hand with planting, sowing seeds, weeding, watering and harvesting fresh produce. 

Comprising of wicking beds, fruit trees and herb patches, the produce is grown and harvested communally. While the produce gets donated to a local food bank, volunteers are able to get involved in fun and interesting activities, learn about gardening and connect with others. 

The garden is open to all and welcomes anyone with an interest in growing food, meeting others and learning new things. 

All gardening tools are provided. Please bring a water bottle, hat and closed toe shoes. 

No registration required.

Inspired Living Series - keynote speaker events

The Inspired Living Series - keynote speaker events showcases five insightful, not-to-be-missed evenings at the iconic Manningham Function Centre.

The series will introduce you to a diverse line-up of local and international keynote speakers offering unique insights on how we can all shift to a greener future.

Topics range from permaculture to sustainable fashion. Each speaker will inspire and motivate simple, positive lifestyle choices, connection to nature and growing a thriving community in the midst dynamic change.

Pines Learning invites women 16 plus, who are new to their centre, to attend a 'free come and try' session for one of their many, varied health, fitness or wellbeing exercise classes. 

Select from Tai Chi, Barre class, chair yoga, dance classes and much much more!
