This year we will be Celebrating the 60s with groovy entertainment and delicious morning tea at the Manningham Function Centre.

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It's easy to learn, low impact and easy to play for all ages.
So come along to this free session guided by Pickleball Victoria, and learn the rules, tips on play, and get the most out of your new favourite activity!

In partnership with Manningham Council, EV invites Seniors of Manningham to enjoy a day outing to pick some summer berries and cherries at Blue Hill, Silvan.
The event is available to residents of Manningham aged 65 years and over. Included is bus transport to and from the berry farm, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Attendees can choose to purchase some of the berries at farm prices.

The Seniors Happy Life Club is inviting Manningham residents to take part in one of two Coffee Chats at Doncaster Bunnings. The event will be bilingual, in both English and Mandarin, and everyone is welcome attend!
The Seniors Happy Life Club are proud to be hosting these chats as part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (November 25 to December 10) to help raise awareness and promote a world free of violence for women and girls and non-binary people.

Older adults in Manningham are invited to join this supported public transport experience to East Melbourne for a lunch and garden outing.
Let us support you to travel to Bulleen Park and Ride bus depot, and then via public transport to Sir Osborn Cafe and Parliament Gardens.
How does it work?
Attendees will be picked up from their homes by EV community transport. They will be dropped off at Bulleen Park and Ride where they will take public transport to the Sir Osborn Cafe and Parliament Gardens.
After lunch, attendees will then take public transport back to Bulleen Park and Ride, where they will be picked up by EV community transport and dropped home.

Cost: $5 booking fee plus $3 for Seniors Myki Card (purchase own lunch).

The Seniors Club Support Grant is a category of the Community Grant Program. The grant allows seniors clubs to achieve short to medium term community development outcomes.
The aim of the grant is to:

Funding is up to $8,000. Allocations are for one financial year. There’s no repeat funding.
The estimated allocation for the Seniors Club Support Grant category is $70,000 per annum.
You will have to agree to the terms and conditions of the Community Grant Program too.

The Seniors Club Support Grants are designed to support initiatives that benefit and empower older people in Manningham.
These grants provide up to $8,000 in funding and can be used for a wide range of activities, including digital literacy programs, creative writing classes, or exercise sessions.

Applications open Monday 5 August and close Wednesday 4 September 2024.
A grant writing workshop is available for existing seniors club members on Tuesday 6 August at the Manningham Function Centre. Places are limited to two people per organisation. Book your spot now.

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for and involving seniors. The festival runs from 1 to 31 October every year, with free and low-cost events right across Victoria.

Let's Crochet Together offers senior residents of Manningham an enjoyable and practical crochet session, with a special focus on those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Participants will not only acquire basic crochet skills, but also have the opportunity to build new community connections.
Refreshments will be provided, and each participant will receive a complimentary crochet kit.
