How can my kinder or community group get involved?
Kinders, Early Learning Centres (ELCs) and community groups can sign up for the following programs and events.
Community Garden Excursion
Book your kinder, Early Learning Centre or community group into a session at the Doncaster Hill Community Garden.
Following a tour of the garden, attendees will have the chance to participate in a hands-on activity tailored to the group. During the excursion, you will learn about the wide-ranging benefits of growing food and have the chance to connect with nature, and others.

Waste Education Incursions
As part of our ongoing commitment to climate action and sustainable waste management in Manningham, we offer a range of free waste education incursions. Incursions are available to kindergartens and ELCs, and also to community and volunteer groups, aged care facilities, EAL groups and more.
These presentations are fun, interactive and where possible, can be tailored to suit your group. Topics can range from general waste education to more specialised subjects like worm farming or FOGO.
