Come join in the fun at the ever-popular Manningham Family Festival at Finns Reserve - presented by Rotary Manningham City.

This annual community event features kids' attractions like pony rides, a jumping castle, a merry-go-round, and a baby animal farm.

On stage, we celebrate our community’s talent with performances from over 100 local adult and children's entertainers.

There are also 50 community and craft stalls, and a wide selection of food stalls to enjoy.

This day is always fun for all the family, from babies and toddlers to bigger children, teenagers, parents, grandparents and even the dog!

No Lights No Lycra - Silent Disco

For anyone who wants to dance without limits or judgement!...

Enjoy the outdoors and dance for yourself, by yourself.

Each participant will be given headphones and will listen to the same uplifting dance music. This activity is about interpretative dancing and singing in the outdoors of Warrandyte, keeping fit and building community connection.

Start dancing at dusk and finish dancing in the dark. 

Suitable for women and girls of all ages and abilities.

If the weather is poor, the class will be moved inside to the Warrandyte Community Hall.

What to wear: comfortable clothing that allows you to dance, walk and move around easily.

What to bring: nothing, everything you need will be provided.

Registrations are essential. Please cancel if you can no longer attend as places are limited.

Come along and learn from Connie Cao, passionate home gardener and author of 'My Asian Veggie Patch' about how to grow, care for, harvest and cook with these unique herbs and vegetables.

The seminar begins at 6.30pm, or join us from 6.15pm for our monthly food swap, where you can bring and trade homegrown produce, cuttings, seeds, gardening magazines, jars, ferments and more!

This unique, fun 6-week dance program is designed to engage the mind and body to improve and enhance mind-body health.

This is an adult/open program for all genders. Participants are encouraged to attend all 6 sessions. 

Multicultural dance for wellbeing is based on the principles of neuroplasticity and the proven benefits of dance.

This 6-week program incorporates breathing techniques to calm the mind, and an exercise routine to develop strength, flexibility, and fitness of the body. It also includes creative dance and music from different cultures to create a space to express yourself, as well as providing opportunities to make new social connections.

No previous dance experience is required.

What to wear:  long-sleeved pants and top (no lycra), long fingered gloves and a full-face helmet. We have some helmets available for loan.
What to bring: your BMX, dirt jumper, or mountain bike. We have some bikes available to loan.

Manningham United is running a free come and try Soccer Mum’s program for This Girl Can week.

We encourage mums or anyone who wants to enjoying keeping active in a fun social environment to come and join us.

Manningham United typically runs a weekly Soccer Mums program. The program is overseen by Natalie one of our board members and coached by Penny and Mel. Each week up to 50 mums get together to have fun, socialise and participate in some soccer basics to some pumping music!

There is no skill requirement, all you need is runners, a drink bottle and an appetite for fun.

No registration required.

Learn about our local wattles on this iconic walk through Warrandyte’s once thriving goldfields, now a haven for wildlife and wildflowers.

This is a circular walk that starts and finishes at the same location. A difficult 5.5km circuit with some very steep and slippery sections.

Wear solid walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, a hat and sunscreen.

Participants must provide a mobile number.

Location will be given upon registration.

This event is part our Manningham Spring Outdoors Series, where we offer a range of fun outdoor activities across Manningham.

The display features key statistics and pathways to support women, girls and non-binary people experiencing gender-based violence.

If you're in the area, take a moment to stop by and learn more about how we can all contribute to ending gender-based violence.

The Art Show is held in conjunction with the annual Warrandyte Festival in March.

It has been running for 36 years, with a break of 2 years during covid lockdowns.

The event opens on Friday 28 March at 7.00pm and will continue over the weekend. 

Artists are invited to submit their artwork. ​Total prize pool of $5,250 will be awarded as follows:

  • Best in Show - $2,000
  • Best Oil or Acrylic - $1,000
  • Best Work on Paper - $1,000
  • Best Small Painting - $500
  • Highly Commended - 5 x $100 each
  • People’s Choice Award - $250

Join Manningham Council’s Waterwatch Coordinator Nigel Philpot for a walk along Mullum Mullum Creek. 

Along the way, we will make multiple stops to test the water quality of the creek. From this, we can assess the impacts of stormwater pollution. 

The return walk is a considerable 5km so come prepared with snacks/lunch, a water bottle and good walking shoes. 

  • Distance: 5 km
  • Time: 3.5 hours
  • Difficulty: Moderate-hard (Long fast walk along a shared walking/bike path.)

Bring your own hat, sunscreen and hand sanitiser.

Location: The location will be emailed to you upon registration.

Reverse vending machines (RVM)

Reverse vending machines are automated, purpose-built and can capture up to 10,000 eligible containers each day. They can be used from 7.00am to 8.00pm daily and include sound proofing and external lighting.

Home Harvest - Seed Saving and End of Year Seed Swap!

Home Harvest Manningham is a monthly home gardening seminar series that will teach you how to grow your own delicious, fresh food at home....

Come along and learn from market gardener and passionate seed saver, Julie Bennett from Montalto Kitchen Gardener and Seeds are free. 

In this session, we'll cover the incredible world of seeds, while also discussing tips, tricks and techniques for how to successfully save your own seed – year after year. This will save you money while preserving heritage seeds and maintaining the genetic diversity and local adaptations of our food crops.

This seminar begins at 6.15pm. Please bring along any saved or excess seeds for a seed swap party afterwards! Please ensure your seeds are correctly labelled (envelopes will be provided).

About Home Harvest: Home Harvest is a free, complete home gardening program that runs monthly from February to December. It aims to educate and inspire residents to grow their own organic, nutritious and delicious produce at home. The series hosts seminars, question and answer time, on-site activities and food swaps!

Football Victoria will be activating the newly installed dual futsal court at Koonung reserve to teach you how to play street football.

This event is perfect for all street football, futsal and soccer enthusiasts who want to try street football for the first time or enhance their skills and test out the new public outdoor dual futsal court in Manningham.

During the clinic, participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced Football Victoria coaches who will guide you through various street football techniques, strategies and games.

This clinic is for all levels - beginners and advanced.

Please note: there are two sessions running on the day. Register for the session that matches your age group.

  • 10.00am to 11.00am - under 8's and under 10’s
  • 11.00am – 12.00pm - under 11’s and under 12’s

Registrations are essential. Numbers are strictly limited.

Appearance and coaching from Daniel Cappellaro - D10

D10 is Daniel Cappellaro, a futsal player, street footballer and coach. Daniel, along with staff from Football Victoria will be joining in both sessions at this clinic.

Daniel has travelled the world playing street football and futsal in the UEFA Futsal Champions League. Daniel has also represented and helped found Western Australia’s most successful futsal club Cambio Cumbre.

Other highlights include AFA Australian Men’s team selection and representing Western Australia at the FFA Nationals. On the East coast of Australia, Daniel played for Melbourne Futsal Club (powered by Melbourne City Football Club), Balwyn Futsal Club and Pascoe Vale Futsal Club, in Victoria’s and Futsal Oz’s prestigious Series Futsal Victoria.
