In partnership with PGAV and ArtsHub, join us at Manningham Art Gallery for a phone-free weaving session to slow down and connect.
Escape the digital buzz and step into the gallery for a hands-on creative experience.
Join us for a relaxed session of weaving to music, where participants are invited to create a mini tapestry to take home.
Set in Manningham Art Gallery's inspiring surroundings, featuring the exhibition Textile Temporalities by Shannon Slee, this event is perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment. We will provide a lovely rustic weaving frame (loom) and materials for you to create - our experienced art tutor will demonstrate and guide you through the process.
All ages welcome and materials are provided - just bring your curiosity.
- Date: Wednesday 17 December 2025
- Time: 4:00 to 6:00pm
Bookings are free but essential.

Analog Art Club is a new initiative inviting Victorians to slow down, switch off their screens and connect in real life - through art. Public galleries across Victoria will host casual, phone-free events under a shared name and brand, offering a welcoming space to reflect, discuss and experience art together. This is about making art social, accessible and refreshingly analog.
Analog Art Club is a joint initiative of Public Galleries Association of Victoria (PGAV) and ArtsHub.
