Join the Astronomical Society of Victoria with a stargazing evening at Ruffey Lake Park, Templestowe. 

Expert Astronomical Society of Victoria astronomers will be on hand with telescopes and plenty of knowledge, bringing the night sky alive.

Join staff from Aquarena for a fitness session using the body weight equipment at the Lake Circuit Path Exercise Station at Ruffey Lake Park.

Sessions run for 45 minutes and are suitable for people of all genders aged 18 years and over.

No experience needed and all fitness levels welcome.

Victoria Street Playground in Ruffey Lake Park is being refreshed!

Guided by the Ruffey Lake Park Landscape Masterplan and the playspace community reference group, we’ve developed a preliminary concept design and would like your thoughts. 

Join us at the playground for a conversation with the designers while your kids build their big ideas for the playground at our Lego table.

Enjoy the beautiful surrounds whilst participating in weekly Yoga sessions throughout November at Ruffey Lake Park.

Yoga sessions will occur at the newly install yoga deck in Ruffey Lake Park at the Boulevarde Hill Lookout.

Beginner sessions for women and girls of all ages and abilities. No prior yoga experience required. 

Sessions will be delivered by yoga trained staff from Active Manningham.

What to bring: an exercise mat, towel and a drink bottle.

What to wear: comfortable exercise clothes and runners.

The ninja warrior course provides an exciting opportunity to test your physical prowess whilst having fun!

Join us for a come and try session with the team from A Space, as they explain how to use the new facilities. There will be coaches on hand to offer help and instructions, and to guide you through the obstacles. 

Competitions will run throughout the session, with prizes available.

Sessions will focus on stretching, strength and balance, using the equipment at Cricklewood Drive Exercise Station.

Sessions run for 45 minutes and are suitable for people of all genders aged 50 years and over.

No experience needed and all fitness levels welcome.

The Cricklewood Drive Exercise Station is located up the hill from the Church Road car park, along the Hilltops Circuit path. More information, including a map link to the exact location, can be found on Ruffey Lake Park.

Welcome to the inaugural My Manningham Fun Run Walk, proudly supporting Carenet Food Relief in Manningham.

Our first annual 3km and 6km walk/run will be held on Sunday 13 April, starting at 8:30am.

The course follows the scenic Lake Circuit at Ruffey Lake Park, beginning from the Boulevarde Playground side.

Join us for a morning of fun, fitness, and making a difference in your own backyard.

This is a family event, the whole family is welcome:

• all children must be supervised by an adult guardian
• children under the age of five years do not need to pay a registration fee for the event
• prams are permitted, for safety reasons please ensure you start at the back of the run
• dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Bring along your family and friends for a morning planting native trees and vegetation to help protect the park's natural environment.

Our team will be on hand to help and provide advice on planting for the local habitat.

What to bring

We'll provide all the tools, equipment, and plants. All you need to bring is a personal water bottle and any snacks.

The planting site will be at Mullum Mullum Creek, walk 100 meters upstream from Reynolds Road Bridge, Donvale. 
 

Come down and learn to play Disc Golf. 

Disc Golf is played much like traditional golf but instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc or frisbee.

No registrations required - just rock up!

This session is for females of all ages and abilities. 

Come down and join Melbourne Disc Golf Club, the day will be fun, you'll learn new skills, get active and meet other female players.
