Holly Green Reserve connects Holly Green Close to the Eastern Freeway Linear Park. There is a picnic table amongst some attractive landscaping and the reserve acts as a buffer for local residents and users of the linear park from the EastLink freeway development.

To celebrate the completion of Montgomery Reserve's upgrade, we're having a neighbourhood party in the park.

Miramar Reserve provides a pedestrian link from Miramar Court to Cat Jump Park via Ellerton Court. It can be used as part of a walking circuit for local residents and those of nearby Donvale Retirement Village.

The Reserve contains remnant vegetation which forms part of the Hillcrest Reserve/ Chaim Court, Biosite 22 in Council’s Healthy Habitats Bushland Management Strategy 2012.

An attractive multi-purpose venue located in the heart of Wonga Park. It is close to a BBQ area and play equipment, and can cater for all social functions and regular community recreation classes.
Hosting a birthday party? Our facilities cater for children aged 12 years or under and adults aged 22 years and above.

How much does it cost?
We have a pricing structure to suit your needs. Bookings during the week are for a minimum of 2 hours, 4 hours during the weekend.
If you book more than 10 times during a year, you are eligible for the regular hirer rate.

A set bond will be required two (2) weeks prior to your event date. The amount varies per venue and further information will be provided upon booking. All bond refunds are processed within ten (10) business days post event.
Make sure that you and your attendees are covered by public liability insurance. We can help to organise this for you.

Steps Trail is now open
The new challenge path between the Ruffey Lake Circuit and Hill Tops Circuit, in the eastern end of the park, called the Steps Trail is now open to test you. There are 115 rock steps, several resting and lookout landings with great views. Come and check it out.
Loved by locals and visitors and flaunted as the park that ‘has it all’, Ruffey Lake Park is popular for social gatherings and family reunions.
We have three kid-friendly picnic areas which have all the facilities you'll need. Our picnic shelters and barbecues are popular - so it's a 'first come, first serve' basis, with sharing encouraged.

Bring your dog to Ruffey Lake Park
Dogs are welcome at Ruffey Lake Park and there are off lead and on lead areas for you and your furry friend.
There are also some areas in the park fenced for revegetation where dogs are not allowed so that we can keep the park beautiful.

Whipstick Gully Reserve is fairly steep and has limited access to the land at either end. The adjacent road provides the pedestrian link between Yarra Street and Warrandyte State Park and also provides carparking for the Park and Yarra Street shopping strip.

The playground, upgraded in 2017, has a large swing set suitable for all ages, plus a see-saw and a digger for all the young construction enthusiasts. Perfect for local children to meet friends and run about.
Winbrook Reserve also serves as a very handy pedestrian thoroughfare between Winbrook Court, Tiffany Court and Williamsons Road.

Are you covered for emergencies at home?
We are holding a home insurance workshop with Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC), a multidisciplinary legal service that works to prevent problems and support community resilience.
The session will cover important topics including:
- having an up-to-date insurance policy
- the right insurance amount for your home and contents
- what to look out for in your existing insurance policy.
Participants are encouraged to bring insurance policy documents for personal reference during the session.
It's free to register but bookings are essential.
Children can have fun on the swings, spinner and combination unit. Enjoy the views or roll down the steep hill. St. Denys Reserve is close to Wonga Park shopping strip with an informal pedestrian link between St. Denys Crescent and Yarra Road, via the adjacent church property.

The annual Lions Club Car Rally is a fun-filled day for the whole community.
The Car Rally will be departing from Domeney Reserve in Park Orchards. Cars will be released in 1-minute intervals from 9.00am. We request participants to be at the Domeney Car park by that time.
This is a pre-booked event, so it is important to book your spot before ticket sales end.
A hidden treasure located not far away from Templestowe Village, the playground features a pommel walk, monkey bar, swings, tunnel, rockers, slide and a spinner. There is also some fitness equipment to test your strength.

Harris Gully Reserve is a small linear park alongside Harris Gully Road that is a tributary of Andersons Creek. It contains remnant vegetation and its main functions are conservation and drainage.
A concept plan included recommendations for weed management, revegetation and new fencing.
Local residents have been encouraging natural regeneration and undertaking weed management for nearly 30 years. The reserve has an informal path beside Harris Gully Road that provides safe pedestrian access to students of Andersons Creek Primary School and is part of the horse route along Harris Gully Road connecting Reynolds Road to Gold Memorial Road.

Snow Gum Reserve is accessible from Snow Gum Road, Sanders Road and Sabason Court. It is an attractive and prominent local park with some trees and garden beds.

The pathway was upgraded to a shared path in 2011 providing local residents with improved access to the nearby Mullum Mullum Creek Linear Park and Mullum Mullum Reserve and the shared path along Reynolds Road.

It joins directly to Andersons Creek at the eastern end and supports remnant vegetation at its western end as a buffer to Andersons Creek/Colman Park Biosite 27 in Council’s Healthy Habitats Bushland Management Strategy 2012.
