The Infant Feeding, Active play and Nutrition (INFANT) program provides parents with evidence-based skills and information about healthy eating and active play for their babies.

INFANT is an evidence-based initiative led by our local Maternal Child Health (MCH) Nurses.

Sessions cover topics including:

• feeding, solids introduction, healthy eating, food refusal and fussy eating
• strategies and ideas on how to play with your baby
• the role that parent wellbeing plays in your baby’s life
• experiences, strategies and tips from other parents.

Who should attend: Parents and caregivers

Please note: This is the 9 months session - for babies aged from 8 to 10 months.

We offer interactive sessions in four different age groups:

• 3 months (babies aged from 2 to 4 months)
• 6 months (babies aged from 5 to 7 months)
• 9 months (babies aged from 8 to 10 months)
• 12 months (babies aged from 11 to 13 months).

On behalf of the Australian Indian Cultural Society Incorporated (AICSI), find yourself with Yoga.

Join our yoga session, offering more than just physical wellbeing:

• starting off with initial focus on breathing followed by warm up
• moving on to the Asanas in flow
• relaxed stretching
• finishing off with Savasana and Meditation.

Ruchi Arora from YogSynergy (Doncaster) will be the exclusive yoga trainer.

Valerie Judge from Rose Phoenix Health (Templestowe) will be the keynote speaker to enlighten you all and connect yoga with a better mental health.

Bring your yoga mat and be ready to improve your physical and mental health. 

Explore a range of mindfulness and meditation techniques at Doncare's Mind Calm series. 

Mind Calm will be facilitated by group therapists and is suitable for those who are new to meditation and people who wish to explore or extend their current practice.

Over four sessions, participants will learn:

• what mind stilling methods work for you
• experience mindfulness
• learn breathing techniques
• practice different types of meditation.

Located on Doncaster Road between Westfield and the Manningham Council Civic Centre, MC2 is conveniently accessible by public transport.

Come and see the Exhibition of Costumes, featuring an extensive collection of costumes dating from the Victorian era.

This exhibition is run by the Doncaster Templestowe Historical Society, as part of the Manningham Heritage Festival.

Manningham Concert Band is presenting our 2023 Gala Concert, in our 49th year, and it is truly out of this world.

Our Gala theme this year is Beyond Our Earth - because who really knows how many other Earth's exist?

No space themed concert would be complete without contributions from the absolute masters, Gustav Holst and John Williams.

Also featured will be other well-known composers that you may not realise composed 'space' music, including:

• Richard Rodgers
• Johann Strauss
• John Philip Sousa

If arriving by bus, take the 902 and get off at the Doncaster Rd/Church Rd stop. From there it is a short two minute walk to the venue.
