Bulleen Cricket Club is excited to host a Women’s Come and Try Evening, inviting female cricketers aged 12 and older, of all abilities and experience levels, to get involved in our welcoming and supportive community.

The session will be a fun and relaxed introduction to cricket, offering participants the chance to learn new skills, meet new people, and experience the enjoyment of being part of a team.

Qualified coaches and current players will run engaging activities designed for beginners as well as those with some cricket experience. All equipment will be provided, and participants simply need to bring their enthusiasm. The evening is a fantastic opportunity for women and girls to connect, stay active, and see what community cricket at Bulleen is all about.

We encourage anyone interested in trying cricket, returning to the game, or simply seeking a new way to get active and meet people to come along. Everyone is welcome, and no prior experience is necessary.

Local success stories

Manningham residents are going all-electric and reaping the rewards. Read about how they made the switch, as well as their top tips.

Jeffrey from Doncaster East

When Jeffrey installed solar panels on his roof in 2007, the system had only a 1kW capacity.

That first step planted the seed for what would become a 17-year electrification process.

Paul from Warrandyte

Rising costs led Paul to decommission his central gas heating.

After just one summer, he is reaping the rewards of his new 9.02kW solar system and battery storage.

Do you want a new public toilet on the Mullum Mullum Trail? Let us know!

Article Content

We’re proposing to install a new public toilet along the Mullum Mullum Trail, near the park at 16 Conos Court in Donvale.

This location was carefully chosen for its accessibility, ease of maintenance, and minimal environmental impact, avoiding the sewer pipe on the eastern side of the trail.

Why it’s needed

Public toilets make trails more accessible and allow more people to use them – for longer.

Whether you’re a walker, runner, cyclist, or family with young children, this new facility would provide a much-needed convenience for trail users.

What’s included?

  • A standard and accessible toilet to cater to all users
  • Baby and child change facilities for family-friendly use
  • Natural and powered lighting, inside and out
  • A water tank for environmentally friendly natural water supply.

The facility would be well maintained, cleaned daily and open between 6.00am and 10.00pm.

Have your say

Would you like to see a public toilet here? Let us know! Complete our online survey by 5.00pm on Monday 9 December 2024.

This project is part of our Public Toilet Plan.
