Come and experience the botanic beauty of the luscious gardens at Applewood at our Open Gardens event.

James Wall from Gardenworld will do a presentation on springtime planting and provide tips to keep your garden in pristine condition.

Then we will do a walking tour of the village gardens, where you can admire the peaceful backdrop and stunning landscaping in this sophisticated oasis purpose-built for over 55s.

An afternoon tea will follow in the Community Centre.

Presented by Cancer Council Victoria and BreastScreen Victoria, this free session will cover topics such as

• keeping yourself and your family healthy
• the free national screening programs
• ways to prevent cancer and how to undertake free easy and painless screening at home or at a clinic

Content is particularly relevant to those up to 75 years of age, however all welcome.

 

Places are limited - bookings essential. 

Enjoy discounted entry to play badminton and table tennis at Manningham DISC on Mondays during Seniors Month. 

For ages 50 plus.

• Badminton 12:30pm – 3:00pm
• Table Tennis 10:00am – 12:00pm and 12:30pm – 3:00pm

Women only Zumba classes.
