For their 2022 Gala Event, Manningham Concert Band is presenting the multimedia extravaganza Last Night of the Proms!

This year we are partnering with Women's Health East to bring you Grit - a celebration of women.
Women's Health East developed the Margins to Mainstream program late in 2020, and since then have been working to empower women with disability.
Join us to hear from women who have found their voice and learn about what they need to be a part of the community.
This event is part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and International Day of People with Disability.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25 November on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December Human Rights Day.
International Day of People with Disability is on 3 December and is a United Nations (UN) day observed internationally. It aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

Home Harvest Manningham is a monthly home gardening seminar series that will teach you how to grow your own delicious fresh food at home.
Join urban food garden specialist Kat Lavers from The Plummery as she discusses garden tools and infrastructure.
The session will cover:
- alternatives to pots
- stakes
- shade cloth
- nets
- buckets
- ties
- and what to look out for in hard rubbish, skips and op shops.
Kat will also cover which tools are worth investing a few dollars in, and how to look after them.
Food swap from 6.45pm, session starts at 7.00pm.

Come join Wurundjeri man Thane Garvey-Gannaway as he shares stories about cultural life along Birrarung (Yarra River) and how traditional owners cared for the landscape.
Thane will guide you through some of the area's local historical significance, highlighting the importance of connecting with Country together with a local knowledge of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung culture.
