We are showcasing our incredible local Manningham artists with our local businesses throughout Summer.

• come and enjoy Jessihoopz illuminating the area with her LED acrobatic artistry
• the place will be vibrating with happy energy from the sounds of African drum musician Super Mande
• a free photobooth will make it even more fun for everyone.

All this to add a little bit of magic to times spent eating, drinking and supporting local businesses.

The Wandering Wombats of Templestowe Village have lost their colour!

Will you help us colour them in? We have seven wombat brothers and sisters awaiting your artistic expertise.

Please join artists Robert Michael Young, Lukas Kasper, and Keedan Rigney in the Templestowe Village Pop up Park for a wombat painting workshop.

There will also be opportunity during the workshop to help us paint our new community giant Jenga. This game will be installed as part of the pop-up park refurbishment, commencing shortly.

Drop in anytime to be part of the fun.

All welcome. Recommended for young people under 12 years.

We will provide painting smocks and materials, just turn up!

We can all participate in the movement to minimise waste.

To celebrate Plastic Free July, we'll be popping up at our local activity centres to chat with visitors about how we can all continue reducing our waste and in particular, single-use plastics.

Come along and say hello!

The upgrade of the pop-up park at Templestowe Village is finishing in August! We're launching an event to celebrate, and we'd love to see you there. 

There'll be treats and entertainment provided. Come and find wombats, smell the herbs, and play giant Jenga.

Bulleen Plaza presents CJ's Puppet Show these school holidays.

Join in the puppet fun at 11.00am followed by face painting and balloon making from 12.00pm to 2.00pm.

Come and join in the Reptile Encounters fun at Bulleen Plaza these school holidays! 

Featuring "Feather, fur and scales", there will be two shows a day at the following times:

• 11.00am - 12.00pm
• 12.30pm - 1.30pm

Join us for Italian stories and rhymes to support families with young children who wish to maintain a family language or learn an additional language.

Storytime sessions support literacy development, social skills and group learning, all while exploring health and wellbeing themes.

Who: For children aged one to five years.

When: Every second Tuesday of the month during school terms at Bulleen Library. Every fourth Tuesday of the month at a local community venue. 

Cost: Sessions are free to attend, and no registrations or library membership are required.

The Italian Storytime session is a part of the Government Multicultural Storytime grant which will help our local libraries deliver Storytime programs for babies and young children in Arabic and Italian in Manningham.

Talented local artists Jazz Notes will be outside Carlucci's creating soulful summer memories. Playing a mix of gentle and upbeat jazz with classical, pop and Latin twists, the Duo combines the delicate sounds of Ann Craig (flute) and Kevin Blazé (guitar) to suit wide-ranging tastes.

Ann and Kevin are both classically trained but, after independently undertaking short courses with Australian jazz legend, Bob Sedergreen, both found the liberation offered by jazz. Then, a chance meeting led to the collaboration that is now Jazz Notes.
