Yarra Street Sounds is a collaboration between Manningham Council, the Live and Local program and the Manningham Community.

The Live and Local program is presented in partnership with the Live Music Office, One Music Australia and APRA AMCOS (the Australasian Performing Rights Association and Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society). It has also been assisted by the Australian Government through Music Australia.

Storytime sessions support literacy development, social skills and group learning, all while exploring health and wellbeing themes.

Who: For children aged one to five years.

When: Every third Thursday of the month at The Pines Library. Every first Tuesday of the month at a local community venue.

Cost: Sessions are free to attend, and no registrations or library membership are required.

The Arabic Storytime session is a part of the Government Multicultural Storytime grant which will help our local libraries deliver Storytime programs for babies and young children in Arabic and Italian in Manningham.

Warrandyte Neighbourhood House invites you to visit their awareness-raising window display as part of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence from 25 November to 10 December. 

The display features key statistics and pathways to support women, girls and non-binary people experiencing gender-based violence.

If you're in the area, take a moment to stop by and learn more about how we can all contribute to ending gender-based violence.

Each session consists of water familiarisation for parents and babies, guided by a qualified swim teacher. All babies must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

The Aquatic playgroup is available for babies from three months to 11 months of age. 

Sessions run on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

What to bring: 

• a swim nappy for the baby whilst in the pool
• swimwear/bathers
