At Doncaster Playhouse, you can enjoy one of our many concerts or theatre shows.

Built in 1863, Doncaster Playhouse was the first primary school in the area. It was then refurbished in 1988 as a contemporary theatre and is now home to several community theatre companies.

Disc Golf is a fun recreational activity for everyone!

The aim of the game is to throw your disc (similar to a frisbee) from the tee pad into the basket in the least number of throws.

At this come and try session members of the Melbourne Disc Golf Club will show you how to hold, throw and putt. Once you've got the hang of how it all works, you'll have the chance to play on the brand new, recently updated course.

No prior experience is required for this event. This event is suitable for families, all ages, all genders and all abilities.

Please note: entry is free but registrations are required.

Ruffey Lake Park Disc Golf Course is located near the Church Road entrance, just off King Street. 

This activity is hosted by Melbourne Disc Golf.

Learn from expert coaches, make some new friends and have fun!

These sessions provide women exclusive access to Aquarena 's facilities, ensuring privacy and cultural sensitivity while promoting physical well-being and community engagement.

These evenings are designed exclusively for women to enjoy access to the pool, along with new additions: a Dance Fusion group fitness class and Open Gym access.

  • A vibrant Dance Fusion class from 8:15pm to 9:15pm
  • The introduction of a NEW Aqua Aerobics session! 8:30pm to 9:30pm
  • Open access to the gym floor from 8.30pm to10.00pm, with female staff on hand for guidance

Access to pools for recreational swimming

All programs are run by female-only staff.

Casual entry is $8.80 for adults and $7.70 for children. The event remains free for members.

During Manningham Girls Can month you can bring a friend for free!

Entry is between 8.15pm and 8.30pm, after which the doors will be locked and set to exit only.

Come and meditate in motion with a low-impact, mind-body exercise, which can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance.

World Tai Chi Day is on Saturday 30 April and to celebrate, we're running a series of free outdoor Tai Chi and Qigong sessions for adults.

These two sessions will be at Mullum Mullum Reserve. They're one hour long, and facilitated by experienced instructor, Suzette Hosken, from Jade Lady Tai Chi & Qigong.

Come down and try Hockey!

Women and girls Hocket program will run from October to November.

Sessions will include 10 minutes of coaching and skill development at the beginning, followed by half pitch fun social matches.

For ages 14 plus years, adult women and mums! This is a great chance for Mums to play with their daughters - whether the Mum is new, or daughter is new, or both are new!

Beginners are welcome. New players can borrow a stick and shin pads.

Mouthguards are required which can be purchased from a pharmacy or chemist.

Participate in the full 8 week program for $100 or $15 per session.

Pines Learning invites women 16 plus, who are new to their centre, to attend a 'free come and try' session for one of their many, varied health, fitness or wellbeing exercise classes. 

Select from Tai Chi, Barre class, chair yoga, dance classes and much much more!

To register, go to Pines Learning to view what classes are on offer in November, then call 9842 6726 to organise your free class.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.

What to wear: comfortable clothing appropriate for exercise and correct footwear for each of the classes.

What to bring: a towel and water bottle are optional.

GO Soccer Mums is an introductory football program designed specifically for women, where participants can have fun, meet new people, and learn basic football skills in a social, judgement-free environment!

This summer break we are offering a free multi-week program for you to try the program for the first time or return to keep up your skills and maintain your psychical activity level in the off season.

Many participants may be busy with children on school holidays so we are also offering a free football clinic for kids!

This will run parallel to or GO Soccer Mums session for boys and girls aged five years to 12 years old.

An opportunity for women and girls to experience flying a remote controlled airplane with guidance from skilled and friendly trainers.

This activity has all the aspects of STEM, engineering, construction skills, aviation principles and hands on experience. 

This event is suitable for women and girls of all ages. No previous experience required.

Participants are encouraged to bring their parents, family and friends with them. Stay for as little or as long as you like!

What to wear: sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.

What to bring: nothing, everything you need to participate will be provided by the club.

Parking is available at the club and adjacent to the club's flying field.

Registration is required via email at events@dac.org.au.
