Disc Golf is a fun recreational activity for everyone!

The aim of the game is to throw your disc (similar to a frisbee) from the tee pad into the basket in the least number of throws.

At this come and try session members of the Melbourne Disc Golf Club will show you how to hold, throw and putt. Once you've got the hang of how it all works, you'll have the chance to play on the brand new, recently updated course.

No prior experience is required for this event. This event is suitable for families, all ages, all genders and all abilities.

Please note: entry is free but registrations are required.

Ruffey Lake Park Disc Golf Course is located near the Church Road entrance, just off King Street. 

This activity is hosted by Melbourne Disc Golf.

It also includes creative dance and music from different cultures to create a space to express yourself, as well as providing opportunities to make new social connections.

Manningham United is running a free come and try Soccer Mum’s program for This Girl Can week.

We encourage mums or anyone who wants to enjoying keeping active in a fun social environment to come and join us.

Manningham United typically runs a weekly Soccer Mums program. The program is overseen by Natalie one of our board members and coached by Penny and Mel. Each week up to 50 mums get together to have fun, socialise and participate in some soccer basics to some pumping music!

There is no skill requirement, all you need is runners, a drink bottle and an appetite for fun.

This is a LGBTQ+ friendly event. Everyone is welcome, no matter your age or skill level.

Stay for as long or as short as you like, just give it a try. 

  • 6 to 12 years - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
  • 12 to 17 years - 5:00pm to 6.30pm
  • 17 years plus - 5.30pm to 6:30pm
