Manningham Council’s Manager Transformation, Fiona Park, has received a silver award in the Global Project Manager of the Year category at the International Project Management Association’s (IPMA) 2019 Global Individual Awards.
Fiona has overseen the delivery of a range of important projects that have helped reshape how Manningham Council operates. Together, Philip Lee, Director Shared Services and the Transformation team have created a higher performing and more customer-focused environment.
Projects include replacing Council’s entire desktop computing platform, establishing a centralised contact centre, improving records management practices, providing additional online services and introducing new applications and upgrades.
Manningham Mayor, Cr Paula Piccinini said optimising the way Manningham operates helps to deliver better outcomes that are important to our community.
“We want our city to thrive, so we continue to focus on improving our work practices enabling us to deliver valued services and facilities more effectively and efficiently.” she said.
The IPMA Global Project Management Awards are held annually and celebrate outstanding achievements in project management.
The award recognises overall excellence, advancement and efficiency in project management and celebrates outstanding individual achievements.
