Works are progressing on the upgrade of Fitzsimons Lane. Over the coming weeks, Major Roads Projects Victoria will be completing night works at the Porter Street roundabout in Templestowe.

From mid-May until late June, works will be carried out between 8.00pm and 6.00am, Sunday night to Friday morning. The works are part of the plan to upgrade the roundabout at the intersection of Fitzsimons Lane, Porter Street and Williamsons Road to traffic lights.

Works will include:

• relocating the River Peel structure
• relocating the Williamsons Road/Porter Street bus stop (city bound routes 282 and 905) to a new temporary site 150 metres further west
• adding temporary barriers, traffic lights and street lighting
• asphalting and line marking.
