Larvrin & Lawrence Orthodontics in Templestowe was announced as the overall winner at this year’s Manningham Business Excellence Awards. 

The glamorous awards were held at a gala dinner at the Manningham Civic Centre on the 15 November with businesses across Manningham showcasing their strengths and celebrating their points of differences in a relaxed, end of year celebration. 

Manningham Council Mayor Cr Andrew Conlon said Manningham had more than 12,500 businesses, which contributed more than $3 billion to the gross regional product.  

“A significant portion of these businesses are service based including retail, tourism and home based businesses,” he said. 

This year thirty nine businesses were nominated and assigned a business mentor to support their application. An independent panel of judges then visited a shortlisted selection of businesses and assessed their applications.

Other Business Excellence Award winners include, Altair Restaurant, Fish & Buger Co Indulgence Medi Spa, JJ Ryan Consulting Lavrin and Lawrence Orthodontics and Zero 95 Pizza Bar. 

Highly Commended awards were awarded to Fernwood Bulleen, Helloworld Travel Lower Templestowe, Organic Origins, Phillip Webb, Simply Natural Therapies and Speedy Shower Screens. 

Judges’ Encouragement awards were given to Power Plant Café and Quest Doncaster.
