Manningham Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from community members to join its advisory committees and help make their mark on Manningham.
Manningham Mayor, Cr Jim Grivas, said advisory committees were an important way for the community to directly contribute to Council strategy and decision-making.
“Our community is at the heart of everything we do. Advisory committees provide a formal voice for community members and ensure that our decisions reflect the real needs and aspirations of everyone in Manningham,” Cr Grivas said.
Expressions of Interest are now open for the following:
- Arts Advisory Committee
- Health and Wellbeing Advisory Committee (including Gender Equality and LGBTQIA+)
- Healthy Ageing Advisory Committee
- Multicultural Communities Advisory Committee
- Manningham Youth Advisory Committee.
“You’re invited to share your wealth of skills, interests and lived experience, and make your voice matter,” Cr Grivas said.
Advisory committees have a 2-year term, except for the Youth Advisory Committee, which runs for one year.
Applications close on Sunday 1 February 2026.
