Discover the history and changing landscape of Manningham these school holidays at the Glazed Turkeys and Other Treats exhibition.
The 5 – 29 July exhibition at Manningham Art Gallery promises to inspire and entertain parents and children with stand-out pieces, ceramics, wood-engraving, exquisite tapestries and a series of public programs, including paint and clay workshops.
Manningham City Council Mayor Cr Michelle Kleinert said the exhibition surveyed some standout pieces from the Manningham Art Collection as well as some of its most recent acquisitions.
“The exhibition will include a number of paintings showing the changing landscapes of Doncaster and Templestowe, including a recently acquired piece by artist Robert Campbell, At East Doncaster (1927),” she said.
“It will also highlight a series of ceramic works by Potter Cottage founder, Reg Preston.”
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to make the most of the public programs, with many especially curated for the school-aged children.
