Seven projects in Manningham will share in more than $175,000 of funding in the second round of the North East Community Fund (NECF).   

The $10 million NECF aims to bring lasting community benefits to areas most impacted by North East Link construction.

Grants are available to local not-for-profit organisations and community groups to support a range of community initiatives – from tree planting projects to community art exhibitions, festivals and events.

It provides grants of up to $100,000, as well as partnerships for bigger community projects.

More than $345,000 was allocated across 12 Manningham based community groups in the first round of NECF funding, in October 2022.

There will be funding rounds each year during the construction of North East Link.
