Arts Advisory Committee
Help us keep Manningham’s vibrant art sector, diverse, culturally relevant and sustainable.
- 8 places available (including professional artists living and practising locally, arts organisations, service providers, tertiary institutions, First Nations peoples)
- 2-year appointment
Health and Wellbeing Advisory Committee (including Gender Equality and LGBTQIA+)
Provide advice on our health and wellbeing priorities under the Council Plan and emerging issues. Includes two subcommittees specifically focused on gender equality and LGBTIQA+ matters.
- 15 places available (including community members and organisation representatives)
- 2-year appointment
Multicultural Communities Advisory Committee
Strengthen the voice of people from diverse cultural backgrounds and help us understand and respond to the needs of our multicultural communities.
- 12 places available (including representatives of multicultural organisations and/or service providers and people with lived experience from multicultural backgrounds)
- 2-year appointment
Healthy Ageing Advisory Committee
Provide advice on the needs of older people and help create an inclusive and age-friendly community.
- 15 places available (including a minimum of 8 community members and up to 7 representatives from local community organisations and/or services providers)
- 2-year appointment
Manningham Youth Advisory Committee
Represent the views of people under 25 years old while gaining important leadership skills
- 9 positions available
- applicants must be aged 15-25
- one-year appointment
