Council, under section 206 and Schedule 11 Clause 9 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”), proposes to close Arundel Road at the intersection of Park Road.

The proposal to close Arundel Road at the Park Road intersection was endorsed by Council at its meeting on 25 May 2021 to address residents’ concerns about vehicle speeds, through traffic and pedestrian safety.

Public consultation is now underway and any interested party may make a written submission in respect of the proposal to close the road.
