JKA Karate Manningham is pleased to offer two complimentary trial classes for members of the Manningham community to experience traditional Shotokan karate in a safe, structured, and family-friendly environment.
We are a proud branch of JKA Australia, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to teaching authentic Shotokan karate in accordance with the official syllabus of our headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
As part of the experience, participants will be introduced to traditional karate etiquette, which is an important aspect of our training. This includes simple practices such as bowing upon entering the dojo, showing respect to fellow students and instructors, maintaining focus during training, and following clear safety instructions. These traditions help create a welcoming, disciplined, and supportive atmosphere for all ages.
This ongoing community initiative extends our usual single trial class to two sessions, giving residents the opportunity to explore the physical, mental, and cultural benefits of traditional karate.
The program is suitable for participants aged 6 through to adults, and all classes are conducted by accredited instructors who prioritise safety, learning, and personal development.
To register for your free trial, email Kevin Soh - JKA Karate Manningham at kevin32f@gmail.com.
We look forward to welcoming members of the Manningham community and promoting health, confidence, cultural appreciation, and community engagement through this initiative.
Please note: standard pricing after free trial is $15 per session.
