Come and join others from all around the community in our Unity Walk for Mental Health.

Show your solidarity and support of mental health and help raise awareness about the importance to talk about it, and NOT stay silent.

Raising mental health awareness is an important initiative to improve understanding and increase access to services for those who need it.

This is a free inclusive event, open to all ages.

Participants who register before 4 November will receive a free T-shirt. 

Lucky lap prizes will be awarded throughout the day.

When: 9-12pm (3 hours)

Cost: $50 per day

Week 1: Monday 7 to Friday 11 July

Join Manningham Juventus Football Club (MJFC) for a fun and action-packed summer of football!

This Program is open to all children aged 7 to 11 years. All genders and skill levels are welcome.

Train with experienced coaches and develop your football skills in a supportive environment.

Dates: Saturdays from October 11 to December 13, 2025

Age groups:

  • U7 (born 2018)

  • U8 (born 2017)

  • U9 (born 2016)

  • U10 (born 2015)

  • U11 (born 2014)

Cost:

$180 for members

$230 for new players (includes a full uniform kit)

Run 4 Fun is a unique skills-based program designed to teach kids  the fundamentals of good running technique. Participants will learn to move more efficiently in a fun and supportive environment.  Sessions are designed to suit designated age groups with a combination of skills, activities and games.

We encourage participants to register for at least two sessions so that there is continuity, and skill-based development and progression, as each session will be designed to build on the previous sessions.

Program information

  • Suitable for all genders and abilities
  • Sessions are for primary school-aged children
  • 9:00am to 10:00am - Prep to Grade 2
  • 10:15am to 11:15am - Grade 3 and 4
  • 11:30am to 12:30pm - Grade 5 and 6

Terms and conditions

  • We request that parents or carers please be in attendance during the sessions.
  • Priority will be given to Manningham residents for participation in the program, with non-residents being considered only if spaces are available.
  • Two-session package $30
  • Three-session package $35

Join the Aquatic playgroup at Aquarena and connect with other parents and babies.

Each session consists of water familiarisation for parents and babies, guided by a qualified swim teacher. All babies must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

The Aquatic playgroup is available for babies from three months to 11 months of age. 

Sessions run on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

What to bring: 

  • a swim nappy for the baby whilst in the pool
  • swimwear/bathers
  • towels for the parent and baby
  • dry clothes for after the aquatic playgroup.

Each session consists of water familiarisation for parents and babies, guided by a qualified swim teacher. All babies must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

The Aquatic playgroup is available for babies from three months to 11 months of age. 

Sessions run on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

What to bring: 

  • a swim nappy for the baby whilst in the pool
  • swimwear/bathers
  • towels for the parent and baby
  • dry clothes for after the aquatic playgroup.

Come and join the fun at the newly renovated Doncaster Hill Community Garden! 

Every 2 weeks community members gather to lend a hand with planting, sowing seeds, weeding, watering and harvesting fresh produce. 

Comprising of wicking beds, fruit trees and herb patches, the produce is grown and harvested communally. While the produce gets donated to a local food bank, volunteers are able to get involved in fun and interesting activities, learn about gardening and connect with others. 

The garden is open to all and welcomes anyone with an interest in growing food, meeting others and learning new things. 

All gardening tools are provided. Please bring a water bottle, hat and closed toe shoes. 

No registration required.

Brendan is an electrician with more than 10 years' experience operating his electrical contracting business. He's also the founder of Get Off Gas. The core motivation for his work is to help accelerate the transition to renewable all-electric buildings and transport, which will reduce running costs and improve liveability. Brendan and his Get Off Gas team offer solutions to electrify homes, with a strong focus on educating homeowners to ensure they make great choices for the environment and their wallets.
