Thelma Cardwell has won numerous prestigious art awards and commendations including being a two time winner of the Brighton City Council Art Award. She is a Past President of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (3 times), a member of the Pastel Society, the Heidelberg Art Society Past President of Plenty Valley Arts. Thelma captures the light and shade of nature in both oils and pastels and enjoys painting all subjects.
